Marine Electronics Trade-in and Recycle 

Trade-In for Store Credit Policy

At Ocean Horse we value sustainability and are committed to ensuring that all devices are responsibly handled, whether they are traded in for store credit or recycled. Here’s how our trade-in process works:

Trade-In Process

  1. Device Evaluation:
    • When you choose to trade in your equipment, our team will thoroughly analyze and test your device. This evaluation process typically takes 7 to 10 business days after we received your device. You will receive an email from our team letting you know the device qualifies for our trade-in program or recycle.
  2. Store Credit:
    • Once your device is assessed, you will be issued store credit.
    • Store credit does not expire and can only be used at our store for future purchases.
    • Please note: The store credit will be sent to you via email, and no physical card or certificate will be issued.
  3. Device Condition & Recycling:
    • If your device is found to be in poor condition, or if it has no resale value, we are committed to ensuring that it is disposed of responsibly. In this case, we will apply a $40 disposal fee per device.
    • If you prefer to have your device recycled (rather than traded in), simply select the "Recycle" option during the process. A $40 recycling fee will apply in this case.
Shipping Your Device
  • After selecting either the Trade-In or Recycle option, we will send you a shipping label and a box to safely send your device to our location.
  • Please make sure your device is properly packaged to avoid damage during shipping. Shipping costs are covered by us, and the shipping label will be provided.
Important Notes:
  • If you choose to recycle your device, you will not receive store credit, but the device will be properly disposed of in an environmentally responsible way.
  • For any questions regarding the value of your trade-in or recycling process, please don’t hesitate to contact our team.
  • After you submit the form, one of our agents will call you during business hours (CST) to gather additional information and provide further instructions.
